Walker Profiles Ltd was established in July 2000, when James Walker (Leith) Ltd acquired the PVC-U window and door fabrication and installation operation of North Lanarkshire Council at Motherwell.
Our business has grown organically, primarily through our work with our sister company, Walker Timber and with the Local Authority sector.
Today, we have an experienced workforce of over 60 employees. We have excellent financial stability and achieve a strong annual turnover in excess of £5m.
We currently have the capacity to manufacture 300 units per week but this can be expanded, if required, to up to 500 units per week.
Walker Profiles is part of the James Walker (Leith) Ltd group. This is a private group of companies that operates in the timber and construction industry throughout the UK. Its Registered Office is located in Scotland at Carriden Sawmills, Bo’ness, West Lothian.
The Group has a sales turnover in excess of £130 million generated principally from its core activities in the UK timber and construction industry, importing timber, manufacturing timber-frame house-kits, windows and trusses.
